Additional duty-specific qualifications:

Pilots:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot certificate
  • MD500 time a plus
  • Current Class II medical
  • 1,000 hrs turbine helicopter P-I-C
  • Precision long-line proficiency
  • Power line experience a plus
  • Flying in the Wire Environment a plus
  • CFI a plus

Mechanics:

  • FAA Airframe & Power-plant certificate
  • Inspection Authorization a plus
  • Valid drivers license
  • Own your own tools
  • MD500 experience a plus

Linemen:

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card
  • Tanker and HAZMAT Endorsement a plus
  • Own your own tools and climbing boots in good working condition
  • Ability to climb wood poles (in hooks)
  • Proficiency and stamina working in elevated positions
  • Transmission line experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel and work a rotation schedule
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
