


Air2 Safety Program
In an effort to maintain the highest level of worksite safety, Air2 has committed to continuous safety training and certification using the PowerSafe TM training program and a Department of Labor approved apprenticeship program. Administered by the Safety Council, PowerSafe is a comprehensive training and verification program for utility contractors. PowerSafe was created to provide a proven system for quality standardized training, universally accepted ID cards, internet accessible training records and personnel verification.
AIR2 Safety focus and training programs:
- Workers comp EMR rating of .78

- Air2 developed custom 8,000 hour, DOL approved apprentice training program
- Detailed site specific safety plans including environmental, congested area, safety and step by step work procedures
- Employees trained and part of recurrent training by PowerSafe program
Safety Mission Statement
The inherent challenges involved with utility line work and helicopter operations make Air2 an enterprise that requires the highest level of dedication and commitment to safe working practices. To ensure the safe completion of each working day, Air2 employees must adopt and hold to the highest possible safety standards. It is the mission of every Air2 employee to:
- Hold themselves responsible for safe working practices
- Provide a positive example to fellow employees
- Actively participate in morning job briefings
- Identify hazards and plan for their prevention
- Be alert to all crew members safety
- Meet or exceed customer safety expectations
- Fully acknowledge that the best way to accomplish any task must be the safest way possible (not necessarily the fastest)
- Have zero accidents as the goal for each and every day.
