TRAC Inspection
Transmission Reliability Assessment of Components: TRAC inspections streamline helicopter comprehensive inspections by focusing on reliability-threatening defects, and using customer-defined reporting criteria. A TRAC inspection includes mapping quality GPS coordinates of every structure and fault detected.

Video Mapping
Take a helicopter “fly by” of your system right from your desktop. The Air2 Video Mapping program provides you with:
- Detailed inventory of transmission assets
- Call up video of any structure
- Physical location of each structure
- Listing of attributes describing the physical make up of each structure
- Video and pictures from two different perspectives
- Search by structure GPS location
Post Construction Inspection
Air2 was first in the industry to establish an aerial Post Construction Inspection Protocol. Air2 helicopter line inspection teams offer utilities a valuable resource for ensuring quality in transmission line construction projects. Experienced linemen thoroughly inventory construction components for completeness, report on right-of-way conditions and assess overall workmanship. Inspection is performed in accordance with the power company’s specifications and construction requirements to include the following components:
